Agata Pilates Studio is an exclusive Pilates Reformer studio set right on the oceanfront in Zicatela โ€” a luminous, carefully designed space where conscious movement meets the energy of the Pacific. Small groups, personalized attention, and a direct view of the sea make every session an experience in itself.

Your experience

What to Expect

Each session at Agata is built around classical Pilates Reformer technique โ€” precise, demanding, and faithful to Joseph Pilates' method โ€” but adapted to the modern body: the one that surfs, travels, works, and lives fully. Beginners and intermediate students are equally at home here.

The studio keeps small group sizes to ensure every student receives individualized cues and corrections. Your instructor tracks your alignment, your breath, and your progress. Sessions address deep core strength, postural alignment, joint mobility, and full-body coordination โ€” with a view of the ocean the entire time.

Agata herself describes each session as a ritual: "We arrive a little scattered. We leave centered. We strengthen the body, we calm the mind."

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior Pilates experience?
No. Agata Studio is designed for beginners and intermediate students. Your instructor will walk you through the Reformer setup and adjust springs to your level. First-timers are warmly welcomed.
How is Reformer Pilates different from mat Pilates?
The Reformer adds spring-based resistance to every movement, which both challenges and supports the body simultaneously. Exercises are more effective and joint-friendlier than floor Pilates โ€” and dramatically widen the range of possible movements.
How do I book?
You can book via WhatsApp at +52 562 056 4374, through the online booking platform at agatapilates.fitcoapp.net, or on Instagram at @agata_pilates_studio.
Where exactly is the studio?
Agata Pilates Studio is at Av. Del Morro, Playa Zicatela, Brisas de Zicatela, Puerto Escondido โ€” right on the oceanfront. From anywhere in Zicatela or La Punta you're a short walk or taxi ride away.
What should I wear?
Wear form-fitting athletic clothing โ€” leggings, fitted shorts, and a fitted top work perfectly. Avoid loose, baggy clothing as it can get caught in the Reformer carriage. Grip socks are available at the studio.
