What to Expect
We pick you up at 9:00 AM from your hotel or Airbnb in Puerto Escondido and take you to the dive site. You board a boat with professional guides who bring you to the best diving spots in the area's sheltered bays.
The underwater world here is rich — rocky reef formations create habitat for tropical fish, rays, and sea turtles, while deeper waters attract dolphins and, during winter months, whales. Visibility ranges from good to excellent depending on the season, and your divemaster knows exactly where the marine life congregates.
If you have never dived before, the experience includes a skills session covering breathing, equalisation, and buoyancy basics before your guided open-water dive. Certified divers head straight to the dive sites. You are back at your hotel by approximately 1:00 PM.

Minimum age:
16 years; participants must be at least 16 years old to dive. No exceptions for safety reasons.
No certification needed for beginners;
first-time divers receive a skills session before the guided dive. Certified divers should bring their certification card and logbook.
Drinks and food are not included;
bring your own water bottle and snacks for the 4-hour trip.
Do not fly within 18 hours after diving;
this is a standard safety rule. Plan your dive day accordingly — do not schedule a flight on the same day or the following morning.
Best visibility:
November to May; the dry season offers calmer seas and clearer water, but diving is available year-round when conditions permit.
