Puerto Angelito is a small, sheltered cove just west of Puerto Escondido's main bay, beloved for its calm turquoise waters and intimate atmosphere. The twin coves of Angelito and Manzanillo are ideal for snorkeling, swimming, and relaxing on the rocky-sand beach, with local vendors renting snorkel gear and serving fresh seafood. It is easily reached on foot from the town center and is best visited in the morning before the midday heat and crowds build up.
