Mirador El Morro is an open-24-hour observation deck at the southern end of Playa Zicatela, rated 4.7 stars by 25 visitors. 'El Morro' refers to the iconic rocky headland that marks the end of Zicatela beach and the start of the calmer waters beyond. From this deck you get a bird's-eye view of the heavy shore break that has made Zicatela famous among big-wave surfers worldwide, as well as sweeping coastal views in both directions. Sunrise visits are particularly rewarding as the light catches the waves.
