Rinconada

Rinconada is a neighborhood located in the north part of Puerto Escondido, right before Bacocho and the airport. Rinconada is one of the first touristic neighborhoods that has been built in Puerto Escondido. For this reason, it is the one that has the best infrastructures (roads, electricity, water, internet etc.). Known to be the most quiet area of Puerto Escondido, the tourists that are attracted by Rinconada are mainly couples, working people, and families. The beaches in this area are more protected from the waves, which makes it a great place to go snorkeling, or have a swim. The most known bay of Rinconada is called Carizalillo beach.
